Holy Innocents 8th Grade students dressed as Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2 on Friday, March 1st in celebration of Dr. Seuss Day. Schools all over celebrate around the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel, the author better known as “Dr. Seuss”.  Geisel was born on March 2, 1904.

Dr. Seuss Day at Holy Innocents included games where the students could win prizes, along with face painting, crafts, photo-ops, and food for everyone.

The celebration was made possible by Mrs. Carol Hockensmith, librarian; Lynette Rodriguez, art teacher with beautiful posters; Sadie Rivera who made a poster; Maureen Connors, 8th Grade teacher; and the entire 8th grade class —  A wonderful celebration of Dr. Seuss’s Birthday!
