Party at St. Adalbert’s

PKM Polish Folk Dance Ensemble gets the audience dancing!

St. Adalbert Parish held their 3rd Annual Dinner on Saturday, March 2nd in their parish hall, Thompson St. & Allegheny Ave.

It was a fun night of music, dancing, and delicious Polish cuisine by Grazyna’s Catering.

Polish American String Band

DJ Bart had folks tapping their feet and children dancing up a storm! The Polish American String Band stirred up a lot of excitement with popular songs like “When You’re Smiling (The Whole World Smiles With You)” and “In Heaven There is No Beer” (That’s why we drink it here!). PKM Polish Folk Dance Ensemble performed traditional dances, along with getting their audience involved.

Fr. Jan Palkowski, Pastor, spins and distributes glow rings

St. Adalbert Parish held this Dinner fundraiser, just as representatives from Nativity BVM, St. George, Mother of Divine Grace and St. Adalbert are meeting to prepare to be restructured into one parish in Port Richmond on July 1st.

Well over 300 people attended St. Adalbert’s 3rd Annual Parish Dinner
