The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board closed all Fine Wine & Good Spirits store in Pennsylvania, and are boarding up those stores that have a history of break-ins. The store on Aramingo Avenue, next to Wawa, is among those that have been boarded up.
Beer stores remain on the list of retailers that are permitted to stay open.
Two liquor industry trade groups, the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States and the American Distilled Spirits Association, are asking Governor Wolf to reopen the stores. The say that Pennsylvania, who runs the liquor stores, is the only state that has shuttered all its liquor stores.
The closures are meant to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
